It’s time for my Midweek Recommendation, in which I commend to your attention books or music or movies or anything I find worth recommending.
My midweek recommendation is simple: don’t tear your ACL.
Yes, this isn’t my usual approach to the midweek recommendation, and it is meant as a semi-humorous way to inform any regular blog visitors (or even new or occasional blog visitors) that my blogging schedule may be a little off for a while.
While having a surgery in August to repair some torn cartilage in my knee, the surgeon discovered that my ACL is torn too, so tomorrow I will be having a second surgery to repair that. I am not sure how long this may effect my work, and certainly blogging doesn’t require the use of my knee, but nevertheless, I may be out of the loop for a little while.
